Rechargeable batteries?

I have a Kodak camera with rechargeable batteries, but lately they haven't been holding a action. I'm going to a baseball game on Saturday and want to bring my camera, but I'm wary about how long the batteries are growing to last. Is it time to buy some new batteries? Should I buy more rechargeable ones or is it better to just get non-rechargeable? What are the best brands that aren't too expensive?

The batteries may be overused, and should be replaced anyway. It mostly depends what class of batteries they are. If they're lithium batteries, they'll hold a charge longer. If they're regular alkaline batteries, they won't last long at all in a digital camera.

I use Energizer e² Lithium Batteries for my camera. The ones I buy are not rechargeable, and get about $10.00 for two, depending on where you buy them, but they will last a very long time if you use your camera normally.
