Is there anyway I can hook up my Dell laptop to my sony stereo system?

I thirst for my sony stereo system to by my speakers for my laptop because it sounds a lot better then regular computer speakers. Is there a cord or anything I can use to have my stereo system as my computers speakers?

You can get a mini stero jack (1/8") to rca (manful) and connect the laptop headphone jack or line out (preferable line out if you have one) to your home stereo.
You may not want the mass to be set to max on the laptop, but around 80 or 85%.

A better route may be to get/find a docking station for your notebook and use the audio output from it.
