I think the best tip we can offer would be to leave the kids at home with the pets, but if that is not remotely possible then try these ideas instead.
Kid-friendly – Make sure you book kid friendly accommodation. You don’t want some Karen who really hates kids ruining your well-deserved break. Fun stuff! Make sure there are lots of fun activities for the kids to do so mum can sit and enjoy a relaxing wine* by the pool while the kids are playing. *totally fully supervised of course! Food – Pack LOTS of snacks and water for the kids and wine for mum – you don’t always want to be stopping at the shop or looking for the local bottleo. Don’t forget the sunscreen and hats – no one wants a holiday mishap. Karen will be watching closely, with her disdainful eye. Always watching. Chill! And remember screen time is OK for some downtime. Let’s be honest here, mamma’s going to need it too.
